It’s been a little over two weeks since we publicly shared Justin’s story, and the gratitude I feel in my heart for the response we’ve received from our community is beyond anything I ever expected to experience.
Your heartfelt messages, comments, shares, prayers, and contributions have meant more to our family than I could ever put into words. ❤️
I realize not everyone sees every post. Some posts simply go unseen—and at the same time, some of you may feel like you’re seeing Justin’s story for the 100th time. But I’m going to keep sharing, in hopes that you’ll keep sharing too, because each share may put Justin’s story in front of someone seeing it for the very first time.
I have over 1,000 friends here, and so far, 135 of you have shared Justin’s story. That means more than you will ever know.
Our goal is simply to keep his story moving and reach as many people as possible. Sharing Justin’s Support Page in your posts and stories is one of the most powerful ways you can help us do that. And if you’re able to print and hang Justin’s flyer at your workplace, church, gym, local business, or community space, that would be incredibly helpful too.
And what an amazing two weeks it has been…
In just two weeks, we have raised 27% of our initial goal with the help of 250 donors. Several businesses have also reached out offering fundraising events and opportunities to help share Justin’s story.
We’ve had interviews with two news outlets that will be airing soon—stay tuned. ❤️
And the BIGGEST news of all…
We have had SEVERAL living donor applicants!!! 🙏🏽💚
Those applicants will be hearing from our transplant team in the coming weeks as the process moves forward with further testing.
Please continue to keep Justin in your prayers. He is in good spirits, but he still isn’t feeling very well, and we continue to take things one day at a time.
And please know that I am praying for all of you who have become part of our journey, too. I thank God for every person He has placed in our path and for putting it on so many hearts to help our family during this time.
