Dear Living Donor,

Thank you for your interest in living donation. We have received your living donor questionnaire and appreciate your willingness to assist your intended recipient. If you are selected to proceed with the donor evaluation process, a member of our Living Donor Team will contact you to review the next steps and discuss scheduling.

In the meantime, please ensure you remain current with routine healthcare, including age-appropriate cancer screenings such as mammograms, Pap smears, and colorectal cancer screening. If you are uncertain about which screenings are recommended, please consult your Primary Care Provider. All living donors must have an established Primary Care Provider prior to approval for donation to support ongoing health maintenance and follow-up care before and after donation.

Living donor evaluations are conducted at UF Health in Gainesville, Florida, and typically involve two full days of testing, consultations, and education regarding the donation process. When scheduling becomes available, if you have concerns related to travel or finances, our Donor Advocate can discuss potential resources to assist you.
