Joy is eating again!! Her bowels were totally cleared out overnight (not a fun experience but I’ll spare you the details) and after many hours of the Nutrition, GI, and Speech/Feeding Therapy teams conversing and brainstorming a solution to Joy’s formula problem, we finally have a solution! The team was able to come up with a recipe to water down her pediatric toddler formula enough that it’s thin enough to get through the blue discs in her specialty bottles, but not so much that she loses the calories she needs. We gave her a bottle to try and she chugged it!! Currently packing up the room after getting discharge papers a few minutes ago. Thank you for all the prayers!!
