We should be going home today!! The doctor wasn’t too concerned with Joy’s pain crisis last night and thinks if we continue with the stronger meds for a little longer vs just regular Tylenol we should be okay. She wants to make sure Joy continues to intake her feeds okay, so she’ll wait until noon to write the discharge paperwork. Joy got her vital monitoring removed now that we are not concerned with her having an SVT again, and it’s so nice to have a cordless Joy to snuggle and walk around the room with!! ❤️ 

Last night went smoothly overall, except Joy had to get her IV port replaced. Silly girl thought it would be fun to try and chew/teeth on the end of it yesterday and ended up pulling it out a little, which made her hand swell and the port no longer accessible. But otherwise everything went well. I am excited at the prospect of being home and possibly getting some better sleep in my own bed instead of the hospital pull out couch 😅 

Thank you all for your prayers for Joy throughout these past few days!! We seriously appreciate every single prayer and word of encouragement so much. I’ll update again if something crazy happens and we end up needing to extend our stay, but otherwise we will be home this afternoon ❤️
