Joscelyn Family
Well, last Tuesday, April 15th I was able to bring Joshua home.
It's so good to have him back home, although things look very different.
Now we're just in a waiting period - we now have to wait until his weight restrictions are lifted so he is able to go back to rehab and learn to do more on his own.
The waiting game can be frustrating. Joshua is the type of person to get up and do things, but right now he knows that this is where God wants him - waiting, healing, and resting.
The good side of this is he's able to slow down and spend all the time in the world with our children.
The bad side, he's more dependent on others right now plus he's still in pain all the time. I am praying the pain will subside as his body heals.
As of today, good news - the man who shot my husband has been officially charged by the State Attorney. He will remain in jail with no bond until trial and he is being charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Great Bodily Harm. Both of these charges are second degree felonies here in Florida.
Please continue to pray for the investigation side of all of this. While we feel much safer with him behind bars, it's not over until a guilty verdict is determined (or a plea deal). There is always still a chance he can go free.
As always, to God be the glory for all the great things He has done and we thank you for your continued support and prayers!

Home sweet home... Good for mental health, and for all the family to be reunited again.
Sometimes healing can seem like forever. I know from experience. Tell Josh - One day at a time. This is like the combat wounded coming back from war, only for them it's sometimes worse -- if they don't trust in God. Perhaps this journey might lead to Josh someday being an effective witness for wounded veterans. Many of them have suffered combat wounds plus invisible wounds of war.
This is a lot of pressure on YOU and we are praying for you too. Is there an organization that might help to fundraise for your van? Grants? Who on your close knit team can look in to this for you?
We are praying day and night.
