OFFICIALLY DONE WITH HBOT (…for now 🤪) Jonah finished his last session on Wednesday and we had our exit appt with Dr Harch today. What a wild ride it’s been and I’m so thankful for this technology that’s helped Jonah so much in the past 2 months. It’s setting a great foundation for him to continue healing.

Here are some of the improvements we’ve seen in Jonah in the last 2 months:
  • decreased irritability
  • Ability to roll on both sides
  • Increased head control
  • Tolerates tummy time so much more and pushes up with his hands
  • Wants to walk with support (just need to get that head and trunk control down and we’ll be struggling to keep up with him!)
  • Tolerates the car seat more
  • Improved cognition and awareness
  • Laughs and smiles way more (previously we’d only get this a couple times a week)
  • Starting to babble
  • Bringing hands and toys to his mouth
  • Knows his name
  • Moving his body more easily

I’m sure I’m missing a few things, but we’re so excited about these changes! We’ll be taking a month to month and a half off and will be purchasing a home unit to continue treatment at home to help Jonah continue to heal. We’ll still check in with Dr Harch, but from the comfort of our home.

Thank you again to everyone for the continued prayers and support! We can’t wait to show everyone at home how he’s doing. Jonah is the strongest person I know and I know that with God’s help and some work he’s going to be just fine. He’s already a testimony to the miracles Jesus can do 🙌🏼

HBOT can help so much more than birth injury- we’ve seen people in the clinic getting treated for autism, cancer, TBI, stroke, cosmetic surgery recovery, wound healing, and there’s so many other conditions that Dr Harch has helped with. If you have any questions for yourself or someone you know, please reach out! I’d recommend Dr Harch to anyone
