The rare calm face of a baby that despises the car seat. Jonah’s hated the car seat since the second week we brought him home from the NICU and everyday I pray that it gets better.

I definitely see an improvement for sure - he used to purple cry all the way to Akron Children’s and back. Sometimes I would need to stop halfway because he worked himself up to sweat. Thankfully, that’s behind us, but most of the time we still cry the entire drive. I believe it has to do with his tight muscles and him being uncomfortable in his body. Thankfully, we’ve started using a different type of massage gun at the chiropractor and I think that’s been helping! He’s so relaxed while they run the gun over his back and starts to drift off, which I love for him.

We’re slowly getting more comfortable in the seat and will have maybe 5-10 minutes (we’ve done 20 minutes a couple times) of calm. If you could specifically pray that Jonah begins to feel comfortable enough in his car seat to tolerate car rides and the stroller, we’d appreciate it! He’s getting better every day
