Happy (late) birthday to our little miracle baby 💚 13 months is as good of a time as any to share Jonah’s birthday pics!
I don’t know if people realize truly how many miracles God has shown us through Jonah. Science told us he wouldn’t live. And if he did, he wouldn’t see, breathe on his own, potentially even hear, and definitely wouldn’t have any kind of quality of life. BUT GOD. Jonah is doing all of that.
We’ve had a very busy year implementing alternative treatments to help Jonah, on top of his weekly 4-6 therapies to help him get to where he is and that’ll likely continue for the foreseeable future.
2 months of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in New Orleans
2 visits to Arizona for stem cells and a follow up for PRP
2 weeks in North Carolina at All Kids Are Perfect for intensive PT and OT
It’s been a lot but so worth it for Jonah. I already have the next round of stem cells booked and we’re planning out the other therapies around that.
We’re working daily to continue to help Jonah reach milestones, but I’m noticing that a primary goal is for Jonah to be more comfortable in his body. He’s very easily irritated when slightly moved so calming his nervous system is a key priority. This poor child is constantly in fight or flight and I really want to help him improve that or get rid of it altogether. If you could pray over his little body and for me to continue to find the best treatments for him to make positive changes we’d appreciate that! Also sleep. That remains a constant struggle.
Happy birthday sweet boy. May everyone that hears your story learn just how great of a healer our Lord truly is 💚
If you feel called, we’d love for you to share Jonah’s story on this SupportNow page to continue spreading the word about his progress and the treatments we’re raising money for
