We learned a little chemo lingo (itβs not quite the same feeling of excitement you get when you learn a foreign language and can now communicate on an exotic vacation). They measure chemo treatment progression in cycles and days - not weeks or months. The cycle is from one treatment day to the next treatment day, which can be different for different treatment regimens. And the days are just that, the days between the treatments.Β
Today, Jessica conquered cycle one, day one. And did it with flying colors (according to me AND the super nice nursing team).
She experienced very little in terms of side effects so far. Hopefully a testament to the clean eating and body nourishing prep she has done up to this point.Β
She is now resting comfortably at home. π
Big thanks for all the prayers. I believe they made a difference! And big thanks to Sister-in-law Caroline and cousin Violet for letting Ryker hang with them for the day!Β We love our support system!
Sorry, no pic. I know better. π
