Weekly update!

Hi everyone! We’ve had a busy week adjusting to the back to school routine for big sis, changes in Jaxson’s nurses schedules, therapy appointments, hockey and everything that comes with this time of year. Jaxson and our family have been abundantly blessed in this season and we genuinely do not have the words to explain what it means to us. Jaxson has had so many doors open for him, for more intense therapies, equipment, support for his needs and prayers, love, encouragement from all of you.

We are still very much battling insurance for his AAC device. This week we have been putting all our efforts towards building his appeal packet, getting letters from providers and any documentation we can to prove why this is a necessity and further more, why the other “in network options” are not sufficient. I hope to have this sent off by early next week. Tobii Dynavox has graciously extended Jaxson’s trial and so we are super thankful for that and the opportunity Jaxson has to keep working with it while we fight to get his very own.
