What will NY152 say today, I wonder. I turn on my computer. I wait impatiently as it connects. I go online, and my breath catches in my chest until I hear three little words: You've got mail.
Well today, I got mail! Lots of mail! It was unexpected and great! I have started hanging the cards on my wall. I can see them all day long as they are across from me just to the right of the hospital MyChart bedside TV display with my information on it.
They have all been so uplifting as I wait for the bounce now. My numbers continue to drop requiring another platelet transfusion to keep me out of the extreme danger zone today. Yes, I also got another SHOT in the tummy. I am getting some 50cent size bruising at the injection points due to my medical situation.
"The Godfather" is the sum of all wisdom. "The Godfather" is the answer to any question. What should I pack for my summer vacation? "Leave the gun, take the cannoli."
