The route continues, my 4am blood pull showed I needed a Platelet transfusion which I got this morning. I've been very sleepy today. If I had to guess it's my body stopping me from doing other things so in can focus on rebuilding core functions back rather than trying to put limit resources into walking and other things.
Didn't lose much hair today, truthfully not much left to lose. However my whiskers on my face are falling out so I don't really need to shave. Still looks funny with little patchy areas.
My throat is starting to feel better and we stopped the fluids IV so I can focus more on oral fluid intake. At the MD meeting mid-morning the DR said they are pleased with my progress and encouraged me to stay boring.
So, staying boring. Thank you all for the surge of well wishes from yesterdays post. It's a lot to take in, so much road still to travel. We will make it.
