Jason Barr and his two daughters
Thank you to all the people in both Sonoma and Mendocino county who have generously donated or purchased clothing items, bedding, backpacks and other items etc for my nieces. We are so grateful for all the kindness.
To those who have donated money already at open mike night in Covelo on Thursday, at the Round valley farmers market and via Venmo before this site was set up, thank you so much for your donations.
It's a long road to recovery from a fire, replacing lost personal items, replacing important documents, finding long term housing, the expense in cleaning up all the hazardous debris from the fire and countless pieces of equipment that was burnt and eventually rebuilding.
The amount listed for donation will only be a drop in the bucket for getting their lives back on track. Not to mention the expensive cost of eventually rebuilding their home. Anyway you are able to help is greatly appreciated.
Below is an Amazon Wishlist for replacing a few items needed for the family. I have included several books on resilience and courage for kids as these will be helpful resources for the girls.
