A lot has happened since our last update, and as always, this journey continues to be a roller coaster. Through it all, Isla remains as resilient, determined, and joyful as ever.

Thanks to your generosity, Isla completed another month-long intensive therapy program in April, and she has now started weekly aquatic therapy and her first Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) intensive. Even after just one week of DMI, we've already seen exciting gains and are incredibly hopeful about what this therapy may mean for her future.

Two weeks ago, we traveled to Gillette Children's Hospital in St. Paul, one of the nation's leading centers for cerebral palsy care, to explore a neurosurgical procedure that could potentially improve Isla's long-term mobility and independence. She participated in an incredible gait lab evaluation using the same motion-capture technology used in Hollywood films, and the neurosurgery team believes she may be a candidate for the procedure. Our next step is additional genetic testing, and if surgery becomes part of Isla's journey, it would involve weeks of hospitalization and about a year of intensive rehabilitation.

Finally, we're thrilled to share that we're entering the final stretch of our fundraising campaign and are getting very close to our goal! Your generosity, encouragement, and support have been a bright light throughout this difficult journey. Thank you for believing in Isla and helping make these opportunities possible. We are incredibly grateful.

This Gramma has heard Isla say in very challenging physical situations, “I am strong. I can do hard things.” This, from the mouth of a 3-year old! She is my greatest inspiration.

Wonderful news to hear. She is lucky to have such dedicated parents and support. Keep up the good work and I will pray for all of you.
