Matthew is home!

After spending 10 days admitted in the Hospital, (first 2 at South Shore Trenton and the following 8 days at Beaumont Royal Oak) Matthew was finally given the all clear to come home and was discharged today! He completed his first 5 days of chemo while in the Hospital, and so far has been responding well. 

His mobility and strength, although still weak, has greatly improved over this past week. The physical therapy and occupational therapy teams both were impressed with how much his strength and mobility improved in just a few days. He is using a walker to get around but moving so much faster than before. 

Matthew is so surprised and grateful at the amount of kind messages and support he has received, thank you to everyone who has shown their love and support to him during this difficult time. 

We are still at the beginning of his journey to recovery, so we ask you to keep sending positive energy our way! I will share updates here if you would like to continue to follow along. Thank you all!!!!
