Some good news!

Ileisha Sanders

Thank you EVERYONE for the amazing outpouring of love, prayers, thoughts, and donations. We're so excited to share that the prayers and good energy are working! This week we found out that:

Ileisha's cancer is likely NOT genetic which is such good news for Ileisha's girls Odyssey and Chloe!!
The biopsies of BOTH Ileisha's lymph node and the mass in her other breast are both negative! This is a huge step in confirming Stage 2a, which would be amazing given the aggressive of Ileisha's cancer.

Ileisha got her port today, and it went smoothly. Every durable medical equipment needs a name, so we have dubbed the port Winston!

Ileisha has a follow up mammogram Saturday and a PET and CAT scan Wednesday, and then her first round of chemo Friday. Prayers are that the scans show no more spread or growth of the cancer, and that Ileisha handles chemo as well as possible.

Thank you again for the outpouring of love and support. No one deserves it more than Ileisha!
