Ileisha successfully had her double mastectomy in December and is recovering well. There was no cancerous cells in her lymph nodes or her nipple tissue! So, the chemo was successful, and the only thing left is her reconstruction! She will have some medicines to take after, but we are soooo close and claiming 2026 as the year of health and healing for Ileisha (and all of us!) Ileisha has been such an inspiration for so many through this - eff cancer for real, but also, she has kept on living right through it. 

Unfortunately Ileisha's reconstruction was moved from January 7th to January 21st. But, then we are going to be done! I will be setting up meals for her for this last surgery.
