Wonderful News!!!
Heather McCoy
The devastation of a house fire is something we're still wrapping our minds around. When she started to list all the things lost, she named Jamie's poetry, as he'd recently started writing. Hannah's artwork she painted to decorate her room, and her first flowers she'd dried to save. Their birthday gifts from their 16th birthday, just 8 days before the fire. Jamie's hats. Hannah's shoes that she ran out of the house without as the house burned. She said they didn't have much, but it was theirs and they felt safe there. As a single mom on a fixed income, she didn't know quite how she would be able to afford starting over.
Fast forward, one month and 3 days of homelessness later, Heather sleeping in her car, the twins staying with different friends... with the love, encouragement, prayers and generosity, we have raised the exact amount... TO THE DOLLAR...to pay her new landlord, to get them into a new home for their family of 3. We are all so grateful!! Finally, they will all be together again, under one roof. We give all the Glory and thanks to GOD for the hearts that have given so generously to make this happen - you know who you are!!... How else on earth, could the donations equate to the exact amount needed??
We are eternally grateful!! Our newest prayers for provision are that we can continue to raise enough money to fulfill their needs to get settled... Heather has the rest of the month to go before she can afford to connect utilities, to get a stove or a refrigerator and the home doesn't come furnished.
If you have gotten this far, and its on your heart to help with these things, I know Heather and the kids will never forget this time in their lives, the kindness shown to them and will continue to pay it forward ❤️
Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts!
