Jazmyne's Promise
The day finally came… the day we have been praying for, fighting for, and waiting on for the last 2.5 years.
Jazmyne received her bone marrow transplant.
Tuesday -Janauary 20, 2026
8:42am the live donor’s bone marrow was retrieved. Then it was taken away in an Igloo cooler to be carefully processed.
4:24 PM Jazmyne transplant began thru an IV… and after 4.5 hours, it was complete.
Watching this unfold was overwhelming in the most sacred way. There are no perfect words for what filled my heart in that room. There was laughter, there was joking around, there was a mama internally filled with so much love. So much gratitude so deep it’s impossible to measure. Feeling blessed. Humbled. In awe at what God can only do.
Today is more than a medical milestone.
It was another moment I realized God had been carrying us all along. This journey has held moments of fear, exhaustion, uncertainty, and moments where the future felt unbearable to imagine. But today we saw God’s faithfulness in the most tangible way.
This wasn’t just a procedure.
It was His answered prayers.
It was His mercy.
It was His timing.
It was His hand carrying us here.
We know the road ahead is still long, but tonight we all rest in gratitude, wrapped in hope, continue trusting God who brought us this far.
Above all, we thank God.
For His protection.
His timing.
His strength when ours was gone.
His light in our darkest moments.
“You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.”
Psalms 77:14 NIV
All glory to Him.
