Last night, Jazmyne spiked another fever — exactly 24 hours after the first one. A second set of cultures was taken, and now we wait patiently to see what they reveal. 

 

Around 2 a.m., we learned that the first set of cultures had developed bacterial spores. Because of that, Jazmyne will begin receiving antifungal medication every 8 hours. For now, she’ll need to remain in isolation another day connected to the IV pole as her body continues to fight and heal. 

 

We continue to trust that God is at work in every detail — bringing strength, protection, and complete healing in His perfect timing.
