First off thank you for the outpouring of support. We are grateful for each and every one of you!

Today we spoke with Harper’s team  and instead of a liver debulking which is a pretty major surgery tomorrow they are just going to remove the lymph node on her abdomen. This should  just be an outpatient procedure. We will meet with her team afterward to go over next steps.

We know tentatively Harper will likely admitted Thursday or Friday for chemotherapy as part of a clinical trial. She will need additional radiation then down the road once the mass on her liver has shrunk it will be safer to go in and remove it. Her team will go over the trial with us more extensively tomorrow.

As much as we want the cancer on her liver taken out immediately the idea of a major surgery with chemo on top of it was pretty terrifying. We are anxious to learn more about the trial but it sounds like she is a good candidate.
