Harper Update

We’ve had a busy few weeks since my last update. Harper started concurrent hospice care last week. This looks very different from adult hospice—it simply provides extra support to help minimize emergency room visits while we continue pursuing active treatment. Her nurse is actually my former lactation consultant from Harper’s NICU days, so we already know her well, which has been such a comfort.

We’ve also had a lot of meaningful family time, with loved ones visiting from Pennsylvania and even Arizona.

Harper’s energy had been pretty low, but since Friday we’ve seen a really nice improvement. She had a count check yesterday and her numbers are still low, which meant she needed platelets. We’ll head back on Thursday and are hoping her WBC recovers enough to start her next cycle.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of support—meals, groceries, donations, prayers, and so much love. It has truly meant everything to us.

We don’t know what the coming months will bring, but we are incredibly thankful for how deeply you love our girl. 💛
