Harper recovered pretty well from her chemo nausea and had a good weekend.

We went in to clinic today to check her counts because they will start dropping and probably keep dropping the next 2-3 weeks. Her platelets dropped a good bit so she needed a transfusion but thankfully her hemoglobin was still good after getting blood last Thursday. Her WBC are 0 which is to be expected but we are just hoping she doesn’t spike a fever and require another admission. I am packed and ready to go in case that happens( hopefully that wards it off 😂). Overall it was an uneventful clinic day and we were home by 1:30.

Her next CT scan is scheduled for 9/23 and if everything looks good we can plan for Harper to ring the bell the following week!

Harper also started her homebound school this week and she has done remarkably well. I can’t wait to see what she is able to do in school full time.

I’ll keep everyone posted on any big changes. Thank you for continuing to support us! We see the light at the end of this tunnel!
