It’s been a long week for our girl. The combination of chemo and radiation was intense on Harper’s little body, so we’ve held chemo since Wednesday. Thankfully, she started to perk up on Thursday and Friday, and we’ve been so happy to see some of those playful 'Harper moments' again.

After meeting with the radiation oncologist, we learned her liver tumor remains about the same size. However, because her bowel loops were very dilated, the remaining radiation next week will focus only on her liver rather than her whole abdomen. She restarts chemo today, and it looks like we’ll be inpatient through at least Monday.

On a brighter note, her appetite is decent and she is obsessed with the wagon that takes her to radiation—she even asks to sit in it throughout the day! We also received a beautiful poster of support from Harper’s NICU team that has really cheered up her room. We are taking it one day at a time and appreciate all the continued prayers and love
