Believing for a Miracle, but not sure If I Qualify…
So the amount of compassion, support, prayers and encouragement has been absolutely overwhelming. People have been incredibly generous and gracious in reaching out and offering help in our time of need. It’s been amazing, but very humbling. I’m very used to being the guy who shows up to serve, but NOT the guy who is being served. This has been a huge struggle for me in these last few weeks. I don’t want to be the focus of attention, or the one “being attended to”. Yet, in God’s divine plan, He appointed me to bear this burden, and it’s not by any mistake.
So here is where my mind goes. I need a miracle. And as I look in both Old and New Testament, I see the miraculous moments abound! God does miracles, and yes, even today! So I begin to closer examination of those examples in scripture, to see who actually received a miracle. Then I ask myself, “So what the qualifications to be blessed by a supernatural healing?” Are there things required? Steps to take?
Looking at those who received a miracle in either Old or New Testament, what did they do to find favor, and to then experience the power of God? Was there a certain number of prayers needed? Was there a certain level of faith needed? Did they earn or merit a miracle and essentially others didn’t?
So, I have begun to think through every biblically recorded miracle. But my conclusion is this, those blessed to be the recipients of a specific demonstration of God’s power through the miraculous, did not earn or achieve in any way the opportunity to receive the miracle. Every miracle was an act of GOD to point others to GOD, not to the recipient.
God is one who decides and determines. From Job to Jonah to Lazurus, It’s The Lord decision and He makes NO MISTAKES. I’m asking you for your prayers and we are crying out for healing, yet I know at the end of the day, It’s all in THE MASTER’S HANDS…AND HIS HANDS ARE GOOD! Trusting with you. Love you all.

I love You, Lord
Oh Your mercy never fails me
All my days
I've been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up
Until I lay my head
Oh I will sing of the goodness of God
All my life You have been faithful
All my life You have been so so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh I will sing of the goodness of God!
