Hey Friends,
Here is an update and a request for prayer. We are so blessed knowing there are student groups and church groups ALL OVER THE COUNTRY that are bringing us before Jesus every day! Our last report (Jan 2026) from my specialist at Duke, my cancer had "stabilized" and in some areas, "reduced"! Sounds great, but we are praying for complete healing and removal of the four legions.
Just being honest with you friends, I'm far beyond what the docs told me in terms of life expectancy.
What does 40 days of Radiation and 12 months of intense chemotherapy yield ? (It yields curious doctors who are just as eager to find out as I am). Well, we'll know soon! So what does a grace-filled touch from The King of Kings and The Lord of Lords yield? Healing, Life, Restoration, Joy, Peace, just to name a few. I, along with you, am reaching out every day hoping to touch the robe of our Savior. I am convinced by faith that HE is THE TRUE HEALER and HE is doing a mighty work in my life. Certainly a work in my soul, as I draw near to HIM and I am transformed by The Holy Spirit.
My prayer for this trip to Durham Medical.
"Lord, I am your servant and here to serve YOU. Use our lives and our story to magnify and glorify YOU! Father, reveal in these test and exams the powerful healing work of Your Spirit. I trust You"
We look forward to sharing with you the news from Duke Medical. As soon as possible!
In the midst of this battle... we feel extremely blessed. Our family and friends have been AMAZING. Through your ongoing encouragement, support and prayers we have been able to continue ministry whenever God opens the door!
( BTW, If your personal evangelism needs a serous boost, have a doctor tell you that you only have a "few months of life"!)
Joannie is a true teammate and inspiration as we climb this mountain together. My love for her has grown even greater as I have seen her serving and carrying the daily load. I sincerely thank each of you for praying for her. Her mercy, grace and understanding are a true reflection of Jesus.
That's all for now...thanks for being you... and loving us. We love you!
