January is finally over!!!

Good morning everyone! Sorry I haven’t updated in a little while — that’s what this post is about! During the month of January, we had 10 specialist appointments, and we are absolutely exhausted. If you’re a special needs parent, you get it — all the appointments always seem to come at the same time. Between ophthalmology, cardiology, endocrinology, an AAC device evaluation, two epilepsy/neurology visits, Grasley’s three-year physical, orthopedic surgery, rehab medicine, and meeting with her ketogenic therapist, it was a full month to say the least. It’s exhausting, but also good to get everything checked off until we do it all over again in 6–12 months.

Even though Grasley and I were so tired, it was incredibly encouraging to hear every single doctor say how well she is doing. Multiple specialists shared how shocked they were by everything she can do — medically speaking, with Grasley’s brain condition, she shouldn’t be doing any of this. She truly is our miracle girl. This is why we push through and do all the therapies, constantly. Nothing is stopping us now! Please continue to pray for and support us as we work so hard for our girl. 💛
