Hello all,

Glen is almost there! His bone marrow transplant is tomorrow!

Since we have been inpatient, Glen has had a central line installed for receiving treatment, had a round of chemo, and undergone 6 radiation treatments. It has been challenging, and he has had difficulty with nausea and losing his appetite. He still finds the fun in all things, which is infectious. His inpatient team is quite fond of him and they enjoy my silly, sweet, and playful little boy as much as I do.

Once Glen receives “mama’s bone juice” (because how do you actually explain this to a 3 year old), he will receive one more round of chemo. After this, we will remain inpatient for at least a few weeks to monitor and ensure that the BMT is successful.

With healing thoughts,
Glen’s Mom (Anna)

Praying now! My husband Sam was the RUF campus minister when your mom and dad were there. We love them and we are honored to pray for you all, especially for Glen.
