We had an appointment with Dr. Ryskowski today to discuss G's stool sample. She confirmed what I have suspected for almost a year now, that her gut is a mess! This girl has been suffering and despite my best efforts to advocate I was not taken seriously. The worst news is that she has a couple nasty bacterial infections which causes her gut to be inflamed and has even been causing some bleeding that we have not detected. The silver lining is that we finally have information and a doctor that will help us use supplements to make her better. It will be about a 6 month process to get her gut functioning correctly...Just in time for stem cell treatment! I ordered the first round of supplements for $170 today but there can't be a price put on her health.
