ICU reunion

George is heading into week two of inpatient cardiac rehab at St. David’s, and things are going well! ❤️

This weekend, he made a special stop back at the St. David’s ICU to visit some of the incredible people who cared for him for nearly 5 weeks. They couldn’t believe the progress he’s made since they last saw him — and getting to walk back in there to see them under such different circumstances was pretty special.

We will forever be grateful for this group, and for so many others on the St. David’s team who cared for George during these past few months. These are the people who were there every single day — through the good days, the scary days, the setbacks, and the victories. They cared for him, encouraged him, celebrated every bit of progress, and helped get him to where he is today.

There really aren’t words big enough to thank the people who helped carry George through this. He’s  continuing to work hard in rehab each day, building strength and making progress one step at a time. We’re so proud of how far he’s come and continue to cheer him on every day!
