1 month VADaversary

Tomorrow it will be 60 days since this crazy chapter began, but TODAY marks a huge milestone. It is George’s 1 month “VADaversary!” One month ago today we put our trust in God and the incredible heart surgeons at St. David’s / Austin Heart Hospital to perform open-heart surgery and implant a Heartmate 3 LVAD to save George’s life. (Did you know there are only 14,000 LVAD recipients in the US?)😳We almost lost him twice, but with the medical team’s expertise, your prayers and support, and some Divine intervention from above, George is with us today! We are forever grateful for all your love and support! ❤️‍🩹
