It has been a rough week for Gary and me.  Little sleep with all the machines beeping throughout the night.  He has been seen by many doctors, nurses and just wonderful people.  He had developed a "heart flutter" that was concerning and not uncommon after a major surgery.  

So, they kept him on a monitor today to regulate his heart before taking out the drainage tubes from the surgery.  That must be done before he can be moved to Courage Kenny in Abbott Northwestern. We are hoping for that move tomorrow. 

He is able to get out of bed and stand with the help of an assistive device and nurses. I wanted to ask you all to send good vibes and thoughts his way.  Please feel free to call him and talk a short time.  He would love to hear from you or text him. 

We are blessed by your love and support. I will post again when he is able to move to Courage Kenny.
