First Day of Chemo complete

Day one of Gages first round of chemotherapy is done. He has had another very long day and he is finally getting some much needed sleep. For the last two days he has not slept much or I! Thankful for all the nice gifts, and dog visits and visits from all the staff it truly has made his day and mine. This new way of life is very scary as I’m trying to adjust. So much information and knowledge and things that I will now have to do. Am I scared yes…do I want to cry of course. If you know me you know I love to talk to everyone. I love talking to the other parents or any of the volunteers. It is such a gift for these people to come to the hospital and help. For the last two days I’ve seen heartbreak that including one of my friends has  lost her child today here in the same hospital. As I look out at the boats and all the cars I feel like that outside world is different! But I have so much faith that we are going to be ok…just a long road to get to that end. Thank you for everything all of you have done for Gage and myself. I’m blown away from so much love. Love Whitney and Gage!!💕❤️💕
