So thankful to be writing this update tonight! After starting the week really pretty rough he’s had 3 fantastic days in a row!!

He woke up Thursday feeling great and worked so hard in therapy all day. Friday he finished up his antibiotic for the UTI and went on his first official outing with all the other teenagers that afternoon. First time he’s ridden on the bus. He had a good time!

Then last night he asked me to check his left foot bc he had a burning sensation. When I looked at it, I didn’t see anything BUT he felt me touching 1 of his toes!!!!!!! He had a burning/tingling sensation last night and then has been able to feel us touching his second toe on that left foot most of the day today with his eyes closed! This is definitely a change. He has had zero feeling/sensation in any part of his legs/feet before this. We don’t really know what it means yet since it’s the weekend and plan to discuss with his team on Monday.

We are doing our very best to remain realistically hopeful that this is the beginning of nerves waking up and good things to come. Please friends we beg you to pray with us that this is the very beginning and God will continue to heal him from the tip of that 1 toe all the way up.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

So encouraging! - keep praying, guys, seriously. I used to be a Neuro ICU nurse and you never know how the Lord will intervene to heal a body - beyond all medical expectations. We have the Living Lord with us. Don't stop praying everybody!

Baruch HaShem!!! What a great report. We are still praying for a complete healing and are hopeful that this is the first of many break throughs in that direction. Keep working Gabe! You got this!!
