Sometimes we become so consumed with our own circumstances that we don't notice how those circumstances affect others. My oldest son Landon was entering into his most formidable years during some of our family's  darkest times. It took everything I had just to make it through a day and I wasn't able to have much concern about anything else. Since my comeback started 2 1/2 years ago, I have been able to notice the impact my health has had on my kids. I am amazed at how strong Landon has been through the years of decline and now restoration. Though the dark years are those that he associates with his childhood, God has shown himself to be good and faithful to Landon and the evidence in Landon's life is proof. God uses the broken things (and people) for his glory.
