David is our peacemaker. He is the one to break up a disagreement between his siblings or try to calm things down (usually). I have always admired his gentle spirit and caring attitude. He and I share a passion for activities such as camping, fishing, and building/craft projects. David often recalls memories of past camping trips, fishing outings, and many similar activities that we did when I was able to be that active physically. I know that there were several years of uncertainty in his life, but my comeback has proven to him of the goodness and faithfulness of God. Even though it's been many years since I've been able to do many of the activities that he and I enjoy, I know he still holds out hope that one day, we will be able to do them again. I am ever thankful to be able to teach him and guide him as he enters his teen years.
