Even though Max has 3 years on his little sister Ava, she has quickly realized that she is his protector. I was worried about how their relationship would turn out since Max was less than pleased with a baby in the house for the first couple years of her life. I think we are finally at a turning point in which the 2 of them are buds and seek each other out in a crowd. As much as I don't want to put that pressure on her to keep her older brother safe, it seems as though she's just taken on that role naturally. I think the new fence would give her peace of mind she doesn't even realize she needs yet!
