Elopement wasn't a word I thought I'd ever associate with Max until his BCBA explained to me the reason that he would just take off without warning. Anyone who has been with him and Josh or myself in public know how quickly and frequently he will just take off. Generally, he has something in mind that he's seeking out, whether he can see it or not. The issue is he doesn't understand the danger in getting to what he wants. While the fact that he has a purpose can be helpful, it doesn't make his bolting any safer. He's always keeping us on our toes...at least he's cute!
