I don’t know where we would be (mentally and emotionally) without the amazing community we’ve found because of autism. From the parents facing the same day to day struggles (sticking to the routine), little wins (like hearing your non-verbal child say a word for the first time in years) to the amazing teachers, SLPs, OTs and BCBA/RBTs we’ve had throughout the year. I often ask how we got SO incredibly lucky with the team we have. We’ve built strong bonds that have continued well beyond just school and therapy and truly felt as though everyone loves Max as much as we do!
