Hello, All -

Faith walked into surgery today, brave as she always is!  Her mom Michon accompanied her to the hospital and is staying with her for a couple days.  Faith reports that her surgical/medical team included a powerhouse of women, two who went through similar surgeries and treatment themselves.  It gave her comfort to know that they had once been in her same position.   

She got home late this afternoon and is in good spirits.  Her pain and nausea are being controlled with medication and she was looking forward to some good sleep. (Which she needs because guess who went to work yesterday to make sure everything was in tip-top shape . . . . she is always working her butt off, even the day before a major medical procedure.)
