Everett Mongold
On Fridays, Everett has speech and physical therapy. In speech, we are slowing working on Everett drinking through a straw and eating foods with more texture.
In physical therapy today, Everett worked on pushing through his arm while on his belly. The length of time that he is able to hold his head up during these exercises are slowly lengthening. He does get very tired afterwards. A child with Cerebral Palsy (CP) works significantly harder to do everyday tasks. The brain damage that causes CP impairs the motor planning of actions, which means he has to focus extra hard to do the simplest of tasks.

We are extremely thankful for everyone that is helping us share Everettβs story and support him through every step.
