I wanted to thank you all so much for you stopping by, dropping off special surprises, ordering groceries, dinners and Starbucks.  You have no idea how much it has helped get us through the last couple of weeks. The amount of love and care for Jordan has been so heartwarming and he loved every minute spent with his old and new buddies. 

As far as recovery  goes, I’m healing and making progress. It’s a slow recovery so I’m about halfway there! 

4 weeks down, 4 more to go until Chemo.

My hip to hip incision does not want to close so that’s the latest hiccup, but all the others have resolved for now. Day by day, minute by minute, getting stronger.  

Thank you for your continued love and support. I will let you all know when chemo begins. Jordan’s wish is that I’m “all better” for his Birthday at the end of May, so that’s obviously the priority this month, to get as much rest and healing by May 24th. 

I made it out of the house a few times this past week with my driver ( Sean) to do something other than go to appointments. Jordan’s baseball game and helped pick up from school. Still not cleared to drive, but hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks that will change. Attaching a picture for those who aren’t aware of what the surgery entails.
