Blakely had a blast on her birthday and was definitely spoiled here at the hospital! Thank you to each and every one of you who took time out of your day to make a video or send a gift. The videos all came out so fun and it meant so much to our family. 

We started our day with an x-ray to check on her tummy gas issues, and the results came back “significantly improved”. 🙌🏼 She will still remain NPO (no food or drinks) for a few more days and check again to be sure it’s fully healed. But that was the best news to start her birthday! 

I felt soooo bad that she had to have the BMA procedure on her birthday, but she did great!! We are so proud of her!!

Blakely has had 2 days in a row of negative cultures for the blood infection, we are hoping for one more day to show the antibiotics are working and the bacterial infection is clearing! 

It will be a few more days before we get the bone marrow results, but please continue to pray for the best results possible! No leukemia, no viruses, just some of Austen’s cells who need a little extra boost to grow!
