Hello friends, sorry I haven’t updated the last month and half we had a few set backs. Elijah was hospitalized for almost a week due to a virus that caused his oxygen to drop. Hospital stays are never fun especially when your little one loves his swing.
Let’s just say Grandpa made it happen he brought the swing by night 3.
We also had a swallow study that didn’t give us the answers we were looking for but that’s ok we are still able to do some taste tests with his speech therapist to get his oral muscles working. He’s been enjoying his whip and pineapple seems to be a favorite. In speech he’s also responding to more cues like “more “ and “all done” He’s also been making more sounds to his favorite songs. The belly laughs I can listen to all day.
During Elijah’s Vison/ Movement , PT and OT sessions he has shown more signs of tracking toys , moving head both directions. He has also held his head longer than 10 seconds and really trying to get that roll over in. We will take whatever he gives us.
