86% !!!

On Thursday night, we learned that the tumor has shrunk by 86%! 

This calculation came as a result of the 3-week MRI, done on 7/6 before my second infusion which I had on 7/7. So that decrease happened after only 1 infusion over 3 weeks. This is really fantastic news -- far past the 65% threshold we were looking for.

What does this mean for my treatment?  

I will stay on immunotherapy infusions only for now, every 3 weeks, through week 12. So I will have two more infusions on 7/28 and 8/18. Then, at the end of week 12 of treatment, I will have another MRI and biopsy. The results of those will tell us if we have to add chemo in or if I can go straight to surgery.
