Elise's Miracle Journey
💙💚
Tomorrow is June 1st!
June is National Cytomegalovirus Awareness Month!
💙💚
As many of you know, Elise was born with cCMV. That was and is the start of all the lifelong journey we are on. While I was pregnant a child ill with this virus came into my care and passed it to Elise through me. We have had countless labs, ultrasounds, MRI's, hearing tests, vision tests and doctors appt. We we will continue to have these in the future too.
During the month of June I will be posting random information about cCMV and CMV to share with others.
Why?
• I want to raise awareness. Elise (and my boys) has taught me SO much about life and not to take for granted what you have. How to love deeply. How through struggles we can turn to God and he will provide!
• CMV is so common yet how many people even know it existed? 🙋♀️ not me and I had years of nursing school.
• My goal, since having Elise is to go big and have some sort of organization helping families navigate through these sort of huge financial struggles because let's be honest, it's incredibly expensive! (This will happen down the road in the future....right now we are focusing on the right here right now!)
So for JUNE....
I'm asking anyone who wants to participate in a movement challenge.
30 miles for 30 day!
Walk • Bike • Swim • Run
Any form of movement that can challenge you to be healthy. To take care of you because life is so valuable and precious!
Do this challenge and I'll enter your name in for a drawing at the end of the month!
•You are welcome to tag me on social media for any posts! Would love to see them!
Tracker can be messaged if interested, let me know!
Let's MOVE in June to raise awareness for cCMV!
