Elaine probably thinks that the car seat is our form of torture device for her. Because of her hypertonia,  the worst thing for her to do is not be able to stretch out how and when she wants. With all of her doctor appointments  she has,  we could be traveling in the car 45-75 minutes one way, 4 or sometimes 5 days a week. The intensive therapies will help her to stretch and control these movements. 
This picture  is the rarest of pictures; one where she is actually sleeping in the car seat. Family can attest that this is not the norm lol.
