When Eiley was born, she had very few reflexes, if any at all. Over the years, we’ve poured countless hours into therapies, interventions, strengthening exercises, and doing everything we possibly can to help her body learn and grow.

Recently, we started noticing something we once only dreamed of seeing.

When Eiley falls, her body now tries to brace for impact. Sometimes her arms even reach forward as if to catch herself! To many, this may seem small — but for us, it is monumental. 😭

We never knew if these protective reflexes would develop, and seeing them begin to appear feels like a glimpse of all the hard work finally connecting together. We can’t point to one exact therapy or treatment that caused it. We truly believe it’s the combination of years of dedication, support, and refusing to give up on our girl.

As these reflexes continue to emerge, building Eiley’s muscle strength and endurance is more important than ever. Her arms and core need the strength to support her body safely when she falls, which means continuing therapies and interventions that help her progress.

This is why we continue searching for every possible avenue to give Eiley the best chance at a full and thriving life.

Thank you for standing beside our family, for believing in Eiley, and for helping ease the financial and emotional burden that comes with this journey. Your support reminds us every day that we are not alone. 🤍
