First Time Crawling Up Stairs!!!

When our daughter was first diagnosed with SMA Type 1, we were told she may never crawl.

Today, not only is she crawling, but she’s also making her way up the stairs. 🥹💜

She still battles fatigue after just a couple of stairs, but we are celebrating every win. 🙌🏽

Everything this girl has accomplished has come from countless hours of hard work, therapy, helping her work through the tears, and encouraging her not to give up. 

Watching her do things we were once told might never be possible fills my heart with so much gratitude and pride.

She is on her own timeline, and that is okay because we never even thought we would be where we are today—we always hoped. She truly is a miracle.

Every movement, every milestone, every step forward is a gift, and we thank the Lord for each one. It is such a privilege to fight for my daughter and to fight alongside her.

So much hope for all that is still ahead. 💜
