Eiley's Continued SMA Journey
Today Eiley received her final intranasal dose of 10 million Dezawa MUSE Cells! ππ½π€
She cried through the whole procedure, but she did it andΒ I am so incredibly proud of her. She continues to face so many new experiences with such bravery. It isn't easy, but she is handling it like an absolute champ.πͺπΌ
Before receiving her cells, we continued preparing her body with:
β€οΈ Red Light Therapy
β‘οΈ Microelectricity
π§ tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation)

One new therapy we added to her schedule today was a Spinal Massage for her kyphosis and scoliosis. She did great with it! It really helped open up her chest, and the therapist worked on some tightness near her spine where her curve is, opening up her rib cage and stretching her shoulders and the areas around her shoulder blades. As we continue working on this at home, she said it should also help improve her breathing because the tighter areas around her rib cage aren't able to expand as much. She also gave us some great techniques to continue at home.
One of the biggest wins today was seeing Eiley's energy finally starting to come back! ππ½ She has been asking to get down and walk, and she isn't fighting me nearly as much when I encourage her to walk on her own. π€£π
We're so thankful for another successful treatment day. Thank you all for continuing to pray for Eiley and cheer her on. π€
